Climate Neutral Bank

Since 2015, Commerzbank AG has been operating in Germany in a mathematically climate-neutral manner. We use CO₂ certificates to offset the greenhouse gas emissions of our banking operations. By 2040, we want to reduce our footprint as much as possible and achieve our net zero target.

Circular economy

Ideally, the concept of a circular economy aims to achieve complete waste avoidance and the effective use of raw materials, thereby reducing the consumption of raw materials. Commerzbank supports its customers and gears internal measures towards achieving a circular economy.
