The external view of our sustainability performance
Major rating agencies for sustainability are regularly rating Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft with regard to our sustainability performance. Commerzbank is also listed in important rankings and indices on a recurring basis.
Ratings and rankings are always based on individual calculations and methodologies, which makes it difficult to compare scores and results. Ratings also focus on different areas of sustainability. Depending on the rating/ranking, there is for instance a greater focus on climate protection or social issues. At the same time, we welcome the further development of standards in line with scientific findings and regulatory requirements. We pursue the goal of constantly improving our results.

, FTSE4Good-IndexThe index series, offered globally by FTSE Russell since 2001, regularly measures the performance of 2,000 companies from various sectors in 23 markets. This is done within a rigorous review process and takes so-called ESG criteria into account. Inclusion in the index is based on the best-in-class principle.
