- Bank has filled all junior staff positions available for initial training this year
- Junior staff kick off their employment with welcome week in Frankfurt
Today, around 450 new junior staff across Germany, including trainees and dual students, began working at various Commerzbank units. “We are happy that we have again managed to fill our junior staff positions with pinpoint accuracy this year. It shows that we are an attractive employer that has been able to encourage many young people to work for Commerzbank despite the challenging labour market,” said Sabine Mlnarsky, Responsible Board Member for Human Resources at Commerzbank.
Welcome week in Frankfurt for everyone
All junior staff will start their Commerzbank journey at the welcome week in Frankfurt. There, they will be introduced to their training units and have the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the Bank’s premises. They will also have the chance to network with one another and gain an initial insight into the Bank’s corporate culture. Chief Executive Officer Manfred Knof and Sabine Mlnarsky will attend the event on the first evening in the Commerzbank tower.
Focussing on gaining junior staff
Commerzbank focusses in particular on gaining junior staff for initial training positions. The Bank offers apprenticeships as banking professionals, in IT, and in office management. If they perform well, the Bank promises trainees and dual students a permanent employment contract afterwards. The aim is to keep the junior staff with the company for a long time. Commerzbank is thus placing itself as an attractive employer, also in the context of its employer campaign.
