Your apprenticeship in banking

You don’t just want to watch, you want to get involved right away? Perfect – with us, you’re in the thick of things from day one. You’ll take on responsibility early on, work directly with customers and get to know real advisory work. This way, you’ll gain a clear sense of what people really need.

Depending on your school-leaving qualification, your training will last between two and three years. In addition to the practical experience in the bank, you will attend vocational school, either in blocks or part-time, so you can combine theory and practice in the best possible way. On top of that, we offer you an internal training program together with the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. There, you’ll gain additional professional and personal skills that will really help you move forward in banking and in your career. Whether it’s personal contact in the branch, digital advice in the advisory center or exciting tasks in our back-office units: during your training, you’ll get to know the bank from many different perspectives and find out what suits you best. We will accompany and support you on your journey – professionally, personally and with many development opportunities.

What qualifications and skills are we looking for?

• Secondary school leaving certificate, a higher education entrance qualification (A levels) or a vocational technical diploma

What about your future prospects?

If you perform well during your apprenticeship, you’ll be guaranteed regular employment with us after you finish. During this time, we’ll give you all the tools you need for your future role in banking. After your apprenticeship, you’ll be able to work in various areas – from advising clients on transactions, investments and financing to managing loans and investments.
