International Women's Day is a celebration of women's achievements across the globe, an acknowledgment of the challenges they face, and a collective reflection on how each person can actively contribute to promoting sustainable gender equality.

Gender equity is a significant component of Commerzbank's sustainability strategy. Our focus goes beyond mere quotas, aiming to build a balanced and future-ready workforce and leadership structure. International Women's Day provides an opportunity to reflect on our own achievements. Since 2010, we've increased the share of women in leadership roles by nearly 15%. This progress is attributed to initiatives such as flexible working hours, home office arrangements, childcare and eldercare support, as well as the "Keep-in-touch" program. Importantly, these offerings are open to men as well.
