The first 100 days of an apprenticeship or a dual study program are filled with new experiences. During this time, our young talents get to know their environment, find their place within the team, and discover just how diverse and dynamic the world of Commerzbank truly is. It's not just about learning professional and theoretical skills, it’s about building trust, taking on responsibility, and experiencing how collaboration thrives at our bank. Setting the Stage for a Successful Start

Even before the first day of training officially begins, our preboarding program gets underway. This initiative helps our young talents smoothly transition from school to their careers. Through digital info sessions and the Welcome Box, which includes a cozy hoodie, a personalized welcome letter, and exciting information about Commerzbank, we sparked excitement for this year’s ComStart.

ComStart is our central kickoff event, bringing together all trainees and dual students from across Germany. Over four days, it’s all about connection, community, and inspiration. From hands-on workshops to engaging keynote speeches, and even direct conversations with board members and colleagues from various business areas, our young talents gain invaluable insights, build their networks, and embark on their training journey with confidence.

Arrive and Thrive

After ComStart, our young talents move on to hands-on training in their respective branches, specialized departments, and teams. Here, they gain their first real-world work experience, guided by their trainers and talent partners. Step by step, they take on responsibility, engage with our clients, and discover just how diverse and dynamic their field of work is.

Additionally, they receive a solid theoretical foundation through vocational school or university, which reinforces their practical work experience.

During the first 100 days, the focus is not only on professional learning but also on personal growth.
