What awaits you at Commerzbank?

If you enrol on a vocational training programme in business administration within our sales department, you’ll have the chance to combine theory and practice at various locations around Germany. Every eight to twelve weeks, you’ll alternate between practical phases in the bank and study phases at our partner universities. During your practical phases, you’ll immerse yourself in our customer business – with a focus on advising and supporting our clients and selling our products. You’ll provide our private and small business customers and corporate clients with personal financial advice. You’ll also take part in our in-house further training programmes, some of which are run in cooperation with the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. After six semesters (seven at the FOM University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf), you’ll graduate with a Bachelor of Arts or Science. Another plus: We’ll take care of all your tuition fees.

As a bachelor's degree, you are qualified for many interesting tasks. After a successful transition phase, you can develop tailor-made financial solutions for our clients as a private banking, business or corporate client advisor.

What awaits you at Commerzbank?

The perfect mix of theory and practice – with us! Our vocational training programme is mainly offered at our head office in Frankfurt am Main, but also at other locations as required. Every eight to twelve weeks, you’ll alternate between practical phases in the bank and study phases at university.
During your practical phases, you’ll gain extensive insights into a pre-selected central area of our bank, for example the areas of services, business development, group management or risk management. You’ll work in a team and prepare reports, presentations and statistics. You’ll also master the art of communicating with internal customers from other areas of the bank.
In addition, you’ll take part in our in-house qualification courses, some of which are run in cooperation with the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. After six semesters, you’ll graduate with a Bachelor of Science.
By the way: We’ll take care of all your tuition fees at one of our private partner universities!
