The improved transfer unites multiple types of transfer. The following instruction describes the individual features and shows how to use them.
You need to fill in the following fields to make a transfer:
Ordering party account (From): Select one of your online banking accounts for the transfer.
Recipient name (To): Enter the recipient´s name or the company name( 70 letters maximum)
IBAN: Enter the recipient´s IBAN in this field.
IBAN-calculator: Click the button “Konto BLZ” to the right of the IBAN field and enter the bank code and account number and click the button "Calculate IBAN". Afterwards the generated IBAN is prefilled in the transfer form.
Amount: Please enter the amount of the transfer in Euros. There are nine pre-decimal and two decimal positions available for your entry.
The following fields can be filled in optionally:
Purpose: There are 140 letters available to record the purpose of the transaction.
Execution date: The next possible execution date is always preset. If you want to make a dated transfer, the date can be changed to the desired execution date.
You can discard your entries by clicking the X button on the right side of each input field.
After clicking the button „Continue“ your entries are checked for completeness.
If the displayed transfer data is correct, you can execute the order by clicking “Submit”, after you have entered the valid transaction number (TAN).
If the transfer data is incorrect, you have the opportunity to adjust the data by clicking “Edit”.
Choose „Other account“ above the recipient, if you want to transfer money to an account in the 19 Euro states, the 10 other EU member states, as well as Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco and Switzerland.
For making a foreign transfer, click „Foreign Country/Foreign Currency“ above the recipient. You can then transfer money to accounts outside the SEPA area.

By means of a batch transfer, corporate clients can make multiple transfers with only one transaction number (TAN). This feature is integrated into the corporate clients sector.
The button „Add transfer“ is located below the input screen. If you have entered the complete transfer data, you can open a new input screen by clicking the button “Add transfer” and then enter further recipient data.
The display of the already created transfers is located above the input screen. You can switch between the created transfers by clicking those elements.
By using “Add transfer“ you can create up to 15 transfers. You can delete them by clicking “Delete”.
Own account/reference account
Own account: By selecting „Own account“ you can make a transfer to one of your own accounts. If you own more than one account, you can choose the relevant account from a list. If you own only one other account, it will be preset and the input fields for recipient name and IBAN are filled in automatically. In this specific case it is not possible to name a purpose.
Reference account: A transfer to a reference account is made to a preset recipient. Therefore you cannot edit the input fields for recipient name and IBAN. In this specific case it is not possible to name a purpose.
You can activate your contact list by clicking the book icon to the right of the recipient´s name. You do not have to save templates separately. When you make a transfer to a new recipient for the first time, the account data will be saved automatically.
Your previous templates for Domestic/SEPA transfers have been integrated into your contacts.
Using the search-as-you-type feature shows you entries of previous transfers, which you can reuse. You will get suggestions as soon as you have typed at least two letters/numbers in the field “Recipient name” or “IBAN”. The results do not only begin with the typed letters/numbers, but you will also get suggestions, where the searched for combination appears in any place.
You can activate your contact list by clicking the book icon to the right of the recipient´s name.
Where do I find Domestic/SEPA transfer templates?
You will not need the template administration for domestic/SEPA transfers anymore.
Those features are integrated in the search-as-you-type feature and your contacts. Previously saved templates for SEPA transfers have been migrated and are available in the new feature.
You find your contact list by clicking the book icon to the right of the recipient´s name.
Now you do not have to save your SEPA templates separately anymore, because when you make a transfer to a new recipient for the first time, the account data will be saved automatically.
How do I save contacts?
You do not have to save your contacts manually. When you make a transfer to a new recipient for the first time, the account data will be saved in your contacts automatically.
Can I delete contacts?
Alternative to the search-as-you-type feature you can use your contact list with all your saved recipients. There you can choose the recipient directly from the contacts. You can also delete saved contacts.
The search-as-you-type feature shows entries of previous transfers, which can be selected.
What is the search-as-you-type feature?
The search-as-you-type feature brings up entries of your contacts, based on the input in the transfer screen. By selecting a search result the previosly saved data is integrated into the current transfer.
How are the results generated in the search-as-you-type feature?
The search-as-you-type feature starts as soon as you have typed at least two letters/numbers in the field “Recipient name” or “IBAN”. All existing templates and newly recorded transfers are integrated into the feature and therefore available as search results. The results do not only begin with the typed letters/numbers, but you will also get suggestions, where the searched for combination appears in any place.
Why are the amount and the purpose filled in automatically?
The amount and the purpose are filled in automatically using the data from the last transacted transfer. If there have been multiple transfers to the identical recipient, the details of the last transfer will be used. If the recipient name and the IBAN are identical, only one search result will be displayed.
Can I change the pre-filled data?
Yes, you can change all suggested transfer data in the screen.
Are only Commerzbank accounts displayed in the search-as-you-type feature?
No, the feature also suggests recipients with other bank accounts, if you have already transferred to them.
Is the search-as-you-type feature exclusively available for the recipient´s name?
No, you can also start filling the IBAN field and then select a suggested recipient.
I do not have to save my transfers as templates anymore?
Exactly, your recipients are saved in your contact list and integrated into the search-as-you-type feature automatically. If you want to make a transfer to a new (unknown) recipient, the account data will be integrated into the search-as-you-type feature and your contact list, after the first successful transfer.
