Advisory International assumes a central role in the coordination of local personnel work in the subsidiaries and foreign locations as well as the HR hubs in America, Asia, London and Central Europe. They are the global functional lead of HR vis-à-vis the personnel departments of the subsidiaries and foreign locations. A goal of Advisory International is to strengthen the competitiveness of the Commerzbank through further development of the deployment strategy and integration of overseas deployments in the career development programmes.

Advisory National offers comprehensive advice and information from executives on all human resource topics. Telephone advice is available for executives, employees, trainees, retirees and external applicants. During this discussion, all human resource, standardised and operative fields of action of HR are covered in order to effectively support and clarify the requirements and issues of the various target groups.

The Executive Advisory serves as specialised advice for boards of directors and executives on strategic personnel topics as well as on all relevant operative HR core processes. They work closely with the executives in order to develop and implement business field-specific HR strategies for the area of responsibility they supervise.

The Cluster Learning and Transformation is aimed at promoting competence development and leadership within the company by means of targeted transformation and change support, exchange formats, feedback and internal surveys. Furthermore, the division develops, advises, produces and maintains comprehensive qualification and learning experience measures, including upskilling and reskilling concepts. The goal is to optimally prepare the employees for current and future challenges and continue to expand their skills.

The Cluster Processes and Products concentrates on the preparation and optimising of digital products, processes and platforms. It also includes important performance instruments and the “Jobs” applications management system for employees. In addition, the Cluster promotes the digitising in HR, concerns itself with the integration of third-party systems and makes available innovative and sustainable benefits.

Services takes on the comprehensive management of various personnel processes to which hiring, relocation, working hour arrangements, compensation, parental leave, outside personnel and departures belong. That also includes salary payments, sick pay supplements, maternity protection, and bike lease. Furthermore, the department is responsible for the preparation of certificates as well as the administration of old-age provision instruments. Additionally, they act as the contact for social and tax legal issues and bear the professional responsibility for standard employment contracts.

Strategy and Labour Relations of the Commerzbank is responsible for the strategic guidance and governance control of HR. This includes topics such as outside personnel, hazard assessments, diversity as well as health management, also budget monitoring and reporting. Moreover, human resource analyses are performed and external Group reporting taken on. In addition, it supports the Boards and Committees division and conducts cross-divisional HR projects.

Talent Acquisition concentrates on the development and promotion of talents through the design of trainee programmes and the optimising of the hiring processes as well as the support and retention of trainees. Additionally, the division includes the recruiting, coaching of executives and the filling of project manager positions as well as the conducting of telephone interviews. A further emphasis is employer branding which aims at developing the employer brand. The goal is to gain potential employees for the Commerzbank and to retain them over the long term.
