Here the standards and strategies are set, the Board of Directors is advised on the strategic issues of communication and, together with management, the corporate culture is developed further consistent with the purpose, values, brand and strategy - here you can leave your creative mark, also by using artificial intelligence.
In addition to the divisions listed below, there are also communication experts in the respective departments who are responsible for both the internal division communication and for cooperation with the overall Communication Department.

Group Communications takes on the external and internal communication public relations including reputation management, political communication, digital communication and social media for visibility and reputation as well as the expansion of Commerzbank brand with regard to sympathy, perception and likelihood to recommend.
Corporate Communications processes and publicises topics for internal and external target groups, informs colleagues on current topics and positions of the Commerzbank as the leading bank for private and business clients in order to support the strategic objectives.
Brand and Research is responsible for the Group brand of the Commerzbank and controls all market research activities in order to increase brand sympathy, awareness and likelihood to purchase/recommend as well as to create the foundations for strategic and operative decisions.
Public Affairs is responsible for the Group-wide communication of political and regulatory topics, coordinates the bank’s own positions and acts as the interface between the Bank and politics.

In various divisions of the Bank, the Bank has its own specialised departments with marketing specialists – from classic product marketing for our client groups to our employer branding in HR.
Here, marketing measures for both private and business clients and also corporate clients are developed in order to increase the visibility of the market presence and to appeal specifically to our varied client groups. This is achieved, for example, by means of videos, newsletters and articles. The tasks include the tracking of the measures and campaigns as well as the market analysis.
In employer branding, the employer brand is further developed. This is done with the goal of attracting potential employees and retaining them over the long term.
