Standing Order

In the following descriptions you will learn about the individual features of the standing order and how to use them best.

Standing Order overwiew

This list shows active standing orders of the selected bank account.

To create a new standing order click the button below the list. The list of standing orders contains following information:

  • Recipient: The name of the standing order´s recipient and the respective IBAN.
  • Next execution: The date of the next execution of the standing order.
  • Cycle: Time interval of the execution of the standing order.
  • Amount: The amount that you want to transfer periodically.
  • Actions: Possibilities to edit, interrupt or delete each standing order to the next execution date.

More detailed information:

  • Purpose: Optional entry for transfer details.
  • Last execution: Limitation of the standing order to a certain date. After the entered date the standing order is deleted.

Create a standing order

To create a new standing order you have to fill in the following fields:

  • Ordering party account (From): Select one of your online banking accounts for the transfer.
  • Recipient name (To): Enter the recipient´s name or company (27 letters maximum).
  • IBAN: Enter the recipient´s IBAN in this field. Standing orders are exclusively possible within Germany, so the IBAN starts with DE and has 22 digits maximum.
  • Amount: Please enter the amount in Euros that you want to transfer periodically.
  • Cycle: You can define a time interval of the execution of the standing order. You can choose between monthly, two-monthly, quarterly, six-monthly and yearly execution.
  • First execution: The day, when the standing order shall be executed for the first time. The next possible execution date is pre-set and editable.

The fields below are optional and do not have to be filled out:

  • Purpose: The field offers 54 spaces for recording the purpose of the transaction.
  • Last execution: The day, when the standing order shall be executed for the last time. It is recommended to fill in this field, if you want to limit the duration of the standing order.

Features:

You can discard your entries by clicking the X button on the right side of each input field.

By pressing “Cancel” you will get back to the overview of your standing orders, where existing standing orders are displayed and different features concerning each order are available.

After clicking the button “Continue“ your entries are checked for completeness.

If the displayed transfer data is correct, you can execute the standing order by clicking “Submit”, after you have entered the valid transaction number (TAN).

If the data of the standing order is incorrect, you have the opportunity to adjust the data by clicking “Edit”.

Edit a standing order

By pressing the “Edit” button in the Actions menu to the right of the standing orders, you can edit the selected standing order to the next execution date. You can adjust the data concerning recipient, IBAN, amount, purpose and last execution. At least one alteration is necessary to continue the process with the “Continue” button.

Otherwise the button stays deactivated.

Interrupt a standing order

You can delete a standing order by using this feature. The deletion will become effective immediately.

Can I edit the pre-set data?

Yes, you can edit all suggested data of the standing order in the screen.

Can I use the features concerning my standing orders at any time?

As soon as your standing order is in execution, you cannot edit it any more. After the execution, all features concerning your standing orders are available again.

Why is the “Continue” button not active?

The “Continue” button is active as soon as all obligatory fields are filled out or an alteration to one of your existing standing orders is made.
