Development of a "Disability" action plan to promote inclusiveness at Commerzbank by 2018

completed (100%) Commerzbank was the first bank in Germany to publish an "action plan on inclusion" in June 2018. In November 2018, the bank received a certificate of recognition for its commitment to inclusion by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

in process (≥ 50%) The “action plan on inclusion” will be presented to the public during the 6th German Diversity Day on the 5th of June. We are the first bank in Germany to draw up an action plan on the basis of the UN
Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the sense of a voluntary self-commitment. Based along the lines of 7 areas of activities, the action plan describes objectives and measures to be implemented within the next 5 years (including improved accessability in communication, raising awareness amongst managers and employees, consideration reflected in purchasing guidelines,...).
