DFB-Junior-Coach DFB-Junior-Coach

The goal of the DFB Junior Coach project is to bring more soccer into our schools – to train new junior coaches, which will improve the coaching situation in clubs and associations in the long term. Through the DFB partnership, Commerzbank has been a national project partner for the DFB Junior Coach project since its launch in 2013, playing an important role in strengthening this volunteer position. Commerzbank employees mentor young coaches; in addition to supporting them on the path to becoming coaches, they also help them prepare for a professional career. Since the project launch, DFB and Commerzbank have already trained more than 20,000 young people as DFB Junior Coaches throughout Germany. Funding for the project is part of the DFB Qualification Campaign, and Commerzbank will continue its involvement through at least 2024. National Head Coaches Martina Voss-Tecklenburg and Joachim Löw also support the project as sponsors.
