DFB-Junior-Coach DFB-Junior-Coach

The DFB-JUNIOR-COACH is the answer of the DFB to the challenges of demographic change and other changes in our society, such as volunteering displeasure or full-day school. The DFB-Junior-Coach project promotes football at schools, trains youth coaches and thereby provides an improved coach situation in the clubs and football associations. In the coming years, more than 20,000 young people will be trained as DFB-Junior-Coaches at their schools. Commerzbank supports the DFB-Junior-Coach as a national project partner in the DFB partnership programme.

A fundamental added value is the integration of the Commerzbank mentor programme (Commerzbank-Paten). These mentors support the young coaches - in addition to the introduction to the coaching career - while also preparing them for a professional career, for example through application training or student internships in our branches. As a major bank with a lot of expert know-how, our employees can explain economic relations and offer financial education to students through lectures and events. This combination of sport and education offers young people the opportunity to take responsibility and personal development.
