  • Where and when is the next AGM?
The next regular AGM takes place at 10 a.m. on Thursday 15 May 2008 at the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt-Höchst, Pfaffenwiese.

  • What do I have to do to attend?
Anyone holding Commerzbank shares at the start of the 21st day prior to the AGM, i.e. as of midnight on 24 April 2008, is entitled to attend the AGM. As in past years, we recommend that you apply for a ticket to the AGM at the bank with whom your shares are deposited. The bank will then register your attendance on your behalf. Please apply for the ticket as soon as possible to ensure that you obtain it in good time.

  • How can I exercise my voting rights without attending the AGM myself?
If you do not wish to attend the AGM yourself, you can appoint a proxy of your choice - this could also be a bank or a shareholders' association - to exercise your voting rights for you. Please apply to the bank with whom your shares are deposited for a ticket in the name of the person you wish to represent you.

You also have the option of authorising proxies appointed by Commerzbank, who are bound to follow the shareholders' instructions, either in writing or via the Internet, and instructing them how to vote on each point on the agenda. In this case, please also apply for a ticket. It will be sent to you with a form for you to appoint a proxy and give instructions in writing or the information necessary for you to do this via the Internet.

  • What is the deadline for appointing a proxy and giving instructions via the Internet?
The deadline is 8 p.m. on Wednesday 14 May 2008.

  • Will the AGM be broadcast on the Internet?
Klaus-Peter Müller's speech at the AGM can be heard live on the Internet at 10 a.m. under www.commerzbank.de .
